Women’s Day: Pathway to Patrol
Join Patrol for an International Women’s Day event! Whether you’re considering joining Patrol or want to learn more about the role, this day will give you a behind the scenes look at the skills it takes to work as a patroller. Throughout the day you’ll get an introduction to equipment, ropes, avalanche awareness, and scenarios that showcase how Patrol works on the mountain. Come ready to learn, try new skills and experience a day in the life of patrol.
This event is for women and people who identify as women.
WHEN: March 8th, 2026
SCHEDULE:
- 9:45am – Meet at Patrol change room – Boots on
- 10:40am – Wrap up, head to summit
- 11:00am – 1:30pm – Rotate through stations
- 1:30pm – 2:15pm – Lunch @ Paradise Camp
- 2:15pm – 3:15pm – Rotate through stations
- 3:20pm – Sweep
- 4:00pm – Debrief
Participants must be 16-24 years of age.
Attendance to this event is free, however, participants must have a valid day ticket or season pass & signed waiver. Participants must wear a helmet to participate in the day.
