Silver Star Stays is a personalized fully hands-on reservation services company located right at Silver Star Mountain. Silver Star Stays offers a variety of accommodation for yourself, your friends and family. Ranging from affordable, fully equipped studios to seven-bedroom deluxe mountain homes.
Our full-service management style allows you to obtain rentals with no effort or stress on your part. We are fully licensed as a wholesaler/travel agent with the B.C. Consumer Protection Department – this gives guests that added peace of mind as they are covered in the event of a dispute or loss of services. We also are licensed insurance agents, so we are able to offer our guests insurance protection on their Silver Star vacations.

Silver Star Stays is a team of 6 working from offices across Canada and around the world – with most of us right here on Silver Star Mountain or in the beautiful Okanagan.
Lindsay Brennan
Owner/Operator
Lindsay is the owner, operator and mountain host of Silver Star Stays. She lives right on Silver Star Mountain with her family and their two dogs. Lindsay purchased Silver Star Stays from the previous owners, Diana Young and Peter Bruckmann in the fall of 2018 and hasn’t looked back.
Silver Star Mountain is the best place to work and play! Lindsay, her husband James, and daughter Maya love the outdoors and they get the best of all seasons on the mountain. In the summer, Lindsay spends time riding Silver Star’s Mountain Bike Park and walking the beautiful hiking trails. In the Winter, Lindsay enjoys taking an afternoon break in the snow to enjoy all the fresh powder whether it be skiing and snowshoeing.
When not working or on the mountain, Lindsay enjoys spending time on their property gardening and playing outside with the family and dogs as well as enjoying the lakes, wineries and more in the beautiful Okanagan.
Teresa Hoivik
Administrative and Sales Assistant
Teresa moved to Coldstream with her family four years ago because they all wanted to be closer to a ski hill and Silver Star did not disappoint!! Silver Star is like a second home to Teresa and her family in the winter and in the summer!! Her children are both involved with the Silver Star Freestyle Club, so in the winter, she is either found downhill skiing or enjoying the many nordic trails by snowshoe or cross country skiing. In the summer, she can be found ripping down the mountain on her mountain bike with her family or enjoying the multiple cross country trails by bike or foot. Teresa just loves being outdoors and Silver Star has so much to offer.
The best part about joining this team is that I get to share the love of Silver Star with all the new and returning guests, and also working with an amazing group of people who also love it!
Tara Kerr
Tara lives and works out of Toronto, Ontario with her husband, Mark and son, Kieran. (Tara is also Peter and Diana’s daughter making this a true family business) She is Silver Star Stays incredible accounting team, resident excel sheet and form expert. Tara is an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Not a fan of winter, Tara loves hiking Silver Star Mountain in the summer and enjoying the fresh air.
Tierney Barker
Reservation Sales Agent
Tierney grew up in Vernon and has called it home for over 20 years. Her family moved here to live the “Okanagan Dream” and be close to the ski hill and lakes.
Tierney grew up snowboarding at Silver Star, and still enjoys visiting the mountain in both the Summer and Winter for snowboarding, snowshoeing, and most recently, snowmobiling. She has always enjoyed the outdoors whether it be paddle boarding on the lakes during the summer, hiking in the Okanagan, or shredding the mountains on her snowmobile or snowboard.
Tierney has been a teacher for the last six years in Vernon, and recently made the career switch to joining the incredible team at Silver Star Stays. She loves being able to share her local experience with others, work with an amazing team, and assist new and returning guests who want to experience Silver Star and the great community surrounding the mountain.
