COVID-19 Policy – Fall 2021 and Winter 2021/2022 Bookings
If you cannot travel to Silver Star Mountain for your booking dates due to a COVID-19 related reason, which would include issues such as new (not current) closures at borders, a public health restriction to not travel, verifiable proof of contacting COVID-19, or being forced to self-isolate due to contact we will refund the non-refundable deposit and balance payment up to 14 days prior to your arrival date. This does not include cancellations due to restrictions that were currently in effect when booking but only includes any NEW restrictions that may be implemented between your booking date and arrival date.
If you are travelling to Silver Star from outside of Canada, we do expect you to be following all vaccination and proof of negative COVID test guidelines. If you are within Canada, your own region may also have travel restrictions both inbound and outbound. It is your responsibility to be aware of any restrictions and requirements at the time of booking. Failure to adhere to current vaccination and COVID guidelines for travel to Silver Star at the time of booking is not a COVID related reason and our regular cancellation policies will apply.
Any cancellations within the 14 days, may be considered on a case by case basis and an administration fee will apply.
Please Note: This policy may change during the fall or winter seasons as borders reopen, vaccinations are completed etc. We would send an email with an updated policy as the situation begins to change.
We still strongly recommend trip cancellation for any non-related COVID-19 cancellation.
We have also enhanced all our cleaning and sanitizing protocols. We will continue with our self-check in process to eliminate and any unnecessary contact however, a mountain host is always available if needed. All our properties have individual external entrances for safe social distancing.
