COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
Our COVID policy is very flexible, but would not include a change of mind, or an abundance of caution – only if further restrictions are put in place. This does not include cancellations due to restrictions that are currently in effect when booking, but only includes any NEW restrictions that have been implemented between your booking date and arrival date
If you cannot travel to Silver Star Mountain for your booking dates due to COVID-19 related reasons, which, as mentioned, would include issues such as contacting COVID-19, or being forced to self-isolate OR new (not current) closures at borders, a public health restriction (not recommendation) to not travel, or Silver Star has had to close, we will refund the full non-refundable deposit and balance payment up to 14 days prior to your arrival date, or you may rebook at the same property for the same rates.
If you are traveling to Silver Star from outside of Canada, we do expect you to be following all vaccination and proof of negative COVID test guidelines. If you are within Canada, your own region may also have travel restrictions both inbound and outbound. It is your responsibility to be aware of any restrictions and requirements at the time of booking. Failure to adhere to current vaccination and COVID guidelines, or inability to get any necessary COVID tests for travel to Silver Star is not a COVID related reason and our regular cancellation policies will apply.
Any cancellations within the 14 days, will be considered on a case by case basis to determine eligibility for a refund based on the above criteria, and a one night rental fee will apply. Depending on the circumstances and availability, you may be able to rebook at the same property for this season at the same rate.
We still strongly recommend trip cancellation for any non-related COVID-19 cancellation
