Silver Star Mountain Museum – “Rocks Beneath our Feet”

Geologist Warner Gruenwald will lead a tour on “Rocks Beneath our Feet”. Warner will talk about how Silver Star got its name and show examples of the kind of minerals that the prospectors were looking for in the 1800s. There will be many points of interest around the mountain including the old prospectors diggings and the history of the Fire Lookout. Children over 6 are welcome.
A gondola pass is required. Group rates available. Meet in the village for 10am.
