Welcome to The Cabin. This family-friendly home is located in the much-loved cabin colony at Silver Star Mountain. Just steps from the slopes and the village – it’s one of the best locations on the mountain.

Walk in the front door to a large entryway where you can store all your gear. Just outside the front door, there is a ski locker with room for 10+ pairs of skis.   There are carpet style sleds and a variety of hockey sticks if you’d like to venture down to the pond for a game of shinny.

Head upstairs to the spacious, main living area which combines the large living room with its big, bright windows and the dining room, kitchen, and full bathroom, with its traditional A-Frame cabin charm. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked like your own home with everything you need. There is even a cupboard full of games, books and activities for kids that you can use during your stay.

Just off the main living area is access to your private hot tub.

From the main living area, head upstairs to the three bedrooms, alcove and brand-new full bathroom with stand-up shower. The A-Frame alcove has two twin beds, futon and a TV Roku, PS3 / DVD’s – this is the perfect spot for the kids to hang out. Through the alcove is where you will find the 3rd bedroom with its traditional A-frame charm.

You can’t get a better location and property than this! Spend your winter or summer vacation staying in the much desired Cabin Colony on Silver Star Mountain. Originally built in the 1960’s, The Fallen Larch has been beautifully renovated but still holds all the older, cabin colony charm.

Walk in the front door to the entry level of the cabin which has a large boot room for all your gear and a den which has a smart TV, loads of board games and books for you to read. Head down the hall to the master bedroom that has a king bed and single/single bunk bed – perfect for a small family. On this level, you will also find a full bathroom with a standup shower and laundry closet.

Head on upstairs to the updated, yet original main floor of the cabin. The open living area has an upgraded kitchen with a gas stove, dishwasher and espresso machine, dining room with large table that can seat all your guests and cozy living room with wood burning fireplace. Just off the living room is a large deck and your own private hot tub.

On this main level, you’ll also find another full bathroom with a standup steam shower.

From the main living area, you can access the second bedroom and loft via a ladder – this bedroom does not have a door but is a closed loft with an open entrance. There is a gate at the top of the ladder so that kids can play and sleep safely up here. This bedroom has a king bed and the closed loft has four built-in single beds with storage. This is a great space for the kids!
