Abbott House – Whole House

"We had the most amazing time at Abbot House. Silver Star Stays were so incredibly accommodating and responsive which made our trip so relaxing. The house is in an incredible location exactly as described with incredible ski in ski out accessibility. Just a short walk from town and everything you could ask for for a ski holiday. Would stay again for sure! Massive thanks to the team for being so responsive and helping us with every request and question we had!" - January 2026

"We had a fantastic experience staying here with our extended family, including kids. The place was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and very well-equipped to handle a large group comfortably. Everyone loved the layout, and there were plenty of beds, bathrooms, and shared spaces for us to relax and enjoy time together. The host was responsive, helpful, and made check-in and check-out easy. We felt right at home, and the overall vibe was perfect for our family getaway. Highly recommend this property for big groups or family reunions! We’d definitely love to come back again." - August 2025

"We had a very nice stay at this beautiful mountain house. Everything was as described, there was lots of room for the 14 adults we traveled with, and all the necessities were at our fingertips. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities we needed. They had a selection of games, books and toys as well. We would recommend Abbott House to anyone staying in the area." - July 2025

"We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units for a group of 9 adult men who have been doing an annual ski trip more years than I wish to admit. We each had our own bed and mostly each our own room. With couples and children, could get an even larger group in comfortably. This was true ski and ski out Everything was of high standard and the hottub perched with view on the roof fantastic to relax in. Beware if renting both up and down, that there is no indoor connection between the two units. No substantive complaints, and if we come to Silver Star again this will be the place to stay" - March 2025

"We were so sorry this place is not available next year we all would stay here again in a heartbeat Can’t say enough good things it was perfect" - February 2025

"Happy New Year! THANK YOU so much for such a marvelous space for our family. We loved the house where everyone had space to rest, play, eat and hang out (a lot to be said for a group of 15, most of whom are 6' tall or bigger!!) Thank you also for the great communications from the team - everyone has been so helpful. We're hoping to be in touch soon for planning next year's adventures!" - January 2023

"Silver Star Stays was an awesome host! Great communication and very responsive. This was one of our favourite family vacations! So many amenities in the house and the village suitable for all ages. Mountain biking, pump track, the Village, hiking, scenic gondola ride. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms suitable for multi families. The views were spectacular, especially from the hot tub! A short trip into Vernon and area and we were at the beach, the skateboard park and The Log Barn! Lots of close grocery options and nice outside pub for a cold drink and snacks, while watching the children in the playground. We will be back!" - August 2022

"Such a beautiful property and great location! The place is equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. From cooking utensils to board games even fans in the bedrooms. The rooftop hot tub was the cherry on top! We are so grateful for pet friendly rentals because our dog is part of the family and comes with us everywhere. Silver Star Stays is a wonderful host and we definitely plan to stay here again if we are ever up at Silver Star." - February 2022

"We have three little kids and wanted easy access to skiing and tube town. This definitely was a great choice for us. House was super spacious and close to the activities (5-7 mins walk to the village but immediate access to alpine meadows chair). The view of the ski hill from the living was also fantastic. Rooftop hot tub was a treat too! We will be back, it worked really well for us." - December 2021
