Blue Skies

"We were fortunate to stay at Blue Skies for a week in February with two other families. The clean, well-appointed kitchen and spacious dining room made meal times a breeze for a large group, with beautiful views of the mountains, the sunset and the stars. The kids loved sharing the bunk bed room (once a fair trade agreement for top bunks was in place!). Despite enjoying the common areas, it was also easy to find more private zones for quiet reading or puzzle-making, or cozying up with hot chocolate by the fire (or, alas, having the odd work call). Putting a movie on in the den for the kids was also a favourite (and not just for the kids!). And the hot tub was just what we needed after a day on the slopes. It was a perfect spot for a memorable ski experience." - February 2023

"Blue Skies provided spacious accommodation for our three generations group of seven. The Silver Queen location, overlooking the village and ski hills and with access to the trail behind for only a short walk to the village, was convenient. We found the house neat and clean with all the furniture and appliances that we wanted. The kitchen was very well equipped. And everything worked as it should. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to stay again at Blue Skies in the future" - January 2023

"We stayed at the Blue Skies house in Silverstar in August 2022 for three nights. The house can easily accommodate 10 people. The living area and kitchen are beautiful and spacious. The sleeping area is well laid out for two families. The location is fantastic - a five minute walk to the main square in the village. We never stayed at Silverstar before in summer. I was so pleasantly surprised as to how much we could do. There were many opportunities for mountain biking and hiking on the mountain, and relaxing at the village square in restaurants and enjoying the famous bakery. Lots of action and beautiful nature at your doorstep. I unreservedly recommend Blue Skies house for a stay in the summer or the winter. " - August 2022

"Great stay at Blue Skies for a boys long weekend of skiing. Perfectly located right in the town allowed us to ski in and out and walk to the bars and restaurants. Great size house which comfortably allowed us to have our own space. Well stocked kitchen meant we could easily cook meals for the whole group with all the necessary pots and pans. The best part was the ski waxing room which made it easy for us to do our own tech on our equipment each evening for the next day. Would definitely book here again and would consider a family vacation as well as there is plenty of space for everyone." - February 2022

"I highly recommend Blue Skies for a Sliverstar vacation! I stayed with my son and two other families in February 2023 and we had an awesome vacation! The house is really well set up, large groups are no problem. The rooms are spacious and private and there are lots of bathrooms. Plenty of ski storage and space to dry out gear. You can ski or walk easily in about 5 minutes to Silverstar Village to access the restaurants, groceries and the lifts, and there are options to ski back from wherever you end up at the end of your day. It’s on the groomed Nordic trails, which are awesome. The open concept kitchen-living area is spacious and well set up, and the hot tub is a great way to unwind after an awesome powder day. Nothing to complain about, it was a great guest house. I’d definitely stay again!" - February 2023
