"Condo had everything we needed (and more) for our 5 days at the resort. Silver Star Stays was super helpful and responsive and check-in/orientation information (booklet at condo and emailed info) was fantastic! It was easy to access all areas of the resort from the condo - village, skiing (downhill and cross country, and tube runs). Beds, pillows and linens were in great shape too. "We visited Vernon on a fairly short notice with my wife and 3 little kids so Lindsay's place was one of the few places left. We initially hesitated about being 25 minutes away from Vernon, but in the end it played out very well. Our kids enjoyed their separate bedroom with a bunk bed where we wouldn't bother them, and we loved having late dinners on the balcony overlooking the mountain and the creek. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the regular food for the kids. As per the description, the apartment doesn't have air conditioning, but keeping the windows open at night and setting up the fans the right way did the job. The drive from Vernon was about 25 minutes long on a windy 60 km/h road, but the peace, quiet and the great views from the balcony were well worth the extra effort for us." - July 2021

"My friends and I stayed at this 2 bed, 2 bath condo for a few days during the summer. The drive to Kelowna can feel like a bit much if we travel there every day but otherwise, we had a pleasant vacation. Clean condo, fully loaded kitchen, enough space to sleep 7 people!" - July 2021

“We had an amazing vacation here! So much so that we seriously contemplated throwing all responsibilities out the window to stay longer. We stayed with our three kids under 4 and the two bedroom condo was the perfect size. There was one set of stairs to get to our floor but you can park your car practically at the bottom in the load zone and the condo is right at the top so not too much of a work out. Perfect place for kids - I could watch my 4 year old's first ski down Silver Queen from the living room window and the kids had built-in entertainment between 7 and 8 every morning as they watched the groomers and snowmobiles do their jobs. Cross country and snowshoe trails are right there for an early morning work out and the village is only a five minute walk to grab a snack to reward yourself for that hard work! Silver Star Stays is such a great host - they got right on helping us replace the DVD player so that we could keep up on watching Vikings during our quiet nights when the kids were sleeping. The condo was built in 2001 or something so you can't expect that brand new feel but it was a very fair price and we would definitely stay here again.” - February 2021

The apartment is very spacious, practical and had all the amenities which was great as we were cooking meals ourselves. "Stayed in the village two years ago, too much bar noise. This condo was perfect; third floor--no stomping neighbors above, view of the beginner slope and sunrise over the mountain--great fun, ski-out to bottom of Silver Queen chairlift, and ski-in from Silver Queen or main slopes. Short walk to ice skating, XC-rental, and magic carpet for tube run. Ski-out to Nordic trails--wish we'd booked another week. Kitchen had almost everything we needed re: pots, pans, equipment (bring a sharp knife if you are serious in the kitchen). We brought our own stovetop espresso pot--you should too if you hate Mr. Coffee. We're already talking about returning next year." - December 2019

"This was our first visit to Silver Star and we could not have been happier with our choice. A wonderful place to stay and ski. Right on the hill, with easy access to the chair lift. A very well equipped and comfortable condo that easily accommodated two adults and three teenagers. The snow was amazing and the two men worked all day to keep the parking area clear for easy access after we received a huge snow fall on our first night. We will be back for sure." - March 2018

"The condo was very clean, warm, quiet and bright. Because it is a corner unit, there are quite a few windows which let in a lot of natural light and are great for watching the tubers at Tube Town as well as the skiers come down the ski run. Although it is a third floor unit, it is only one level up from the parking lot thereby making it very convenient for loading and unloading your vehicle. The building does has laundry facilities which were easy to access and well maintained. I would rate this condo 5 stars out of 5." - February 2018
