"Amazing accommodating home in silver star close to everything. The place actually had newer and nicer furniture than is shown in the photos. There’s a really nice mix of shared and private spaces thanks to the unique floor layout. Only 5min walk to the village center! The host was extremely responsive to our requests. "Our stay at Sunset Peak was everything we could have hoped for. Twelve members of our family, ages ranging from 6 to 72, gathered at this beautiful location to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. It was marvelous. The house was excellently equipped with all we needed, the perfect size, big enough to house us all and not feel cramped. A huge dining table meant we could all sit and enjoy each other's company, eat, laugh and share stories. We can't comment on the skiing because only one member of our group skied but the location - stunning! Lovely village, good coffee, great walks. I could wax lyrical forever about it but l will end here praising Lindsay and her team at Silverstar Stays for their 5star customer service, it was an absolute pleasure working with them. "The property was perfect for our group of 11 (3 couples, 4 teenagers and 1 single adult). All the beds were comfortable and there were a number of pullout couches. There was space to watch TV, cuddle up on the comfy couches to read, make puzzles... The kitchen was well-stocked in order for us to make our planned meals. Room for everyone to sit around the table. Ski-in if you made it to Silverwoods chair by 3:15 for its last ride up. If you like to ski right up until the last Comet Express chair, then you need to go through the village and walk 4min up from the parking lot. Technically ski-out, however, you must cross the road and it is a flat stretch through the village to top of hill. And the hot tub was very appreciated!" - March 2023

"We stayed at this beautiful house in Silver Star mountain. The house was BIG and was able to accommodate our group of 16 people! It was very clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed cooking meals together in this well stocked kitchen and then spending the evening playing board games in the great room. Silver Star Stays, the property manager, is the greatest! She answered all my questions within the hour and was very re assuring and kind. Our group had a fun and relaxing weekend in this house." - August 2021

“WOW - we stayed here for only a few nights with the family and it was absolutely great. Because we were sight seeing and not staying each day on the mountain I was dubious about being 30 minutes out of town (we are from the UK and 30 minutes’ drive is a distance for us) but it was GREAT. The drive up and down the mountain each day was breathtaking every time as the views are incredible. The house itself is magnificent. We had a 18 month old and 4 year old and the kids room was brilliant (though vigilance required as the 18 month old wanted to be up and down the stairs all the time!). There were toys (not expected but great addition) and so much spice for everyone. My parents stayed on the bottom floor which has it’s own living room area and so when we got up with the kids they were not really disturbed. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a shame we could did not utilise the BBQ and decking (time permitting). Overall would love to go back and spend more time at this place and would highly recommend it to everyone. If you stay on the mountain, stay here - if you are travelling around the region then you should also stay here!!! We loved it.” - July 2019

"Location, location, location. Great set-up. Stayed for a month during January 2018. Allowed us all the fantastic combination of community living and privacy. The group of us that stayed there could find that elusive private space, so no-one felt they were on top of each other. Facilities were perfect - and the hot tub welcome!!! The ability to ski-in/ski-out was an absolute blessing, especially for the early starts. As a bonus the Village was little more than 5 minutes walk away along the ski way.
