Friday Night Bamboo Ski Race
Peter Dorey Memorial Club Bamboo Race Series supported by Rossignol
Peter Dorey, former coach of the Vernon Ski Club and SilverStar Freestyle Club, had a vision to create a fun filled night of ski racing with likeminded individuals. In his honour we are resurrecting this series of racing. Earn points throughout the series, and the overall winner will have their name proudly engraved on the Peter Dorey Memorial Club Bamboo Cup!
Each racer will have two timed runs (if time allows) on our exciting course – The course is located down the skiers left on ‘Milky Way’ on the last pitch above ‘Paradise’ running down to ‘Main Street’. We will run this race as a dual, so come ready to race your friends, family, or new competitive ski buddies. Whether you’re a first time racer, or a seasoned pro – this is a casual fun evening of racing. Spectators are strongly encouraged!
This event is kindly supported by our friends at Rossignol!
