Sendtember at SilverStar – Whip Off

Who’s got the nicest whip at SilverStar? We are bringing back our whip-off competition to find the most stylish riders on the mountain.  Come shred and raise the stoke for the afternoon while you throw down your biggest whips.

WHEN: 12:00pm – 2:00pm, Saturday September 12th

SCHEDULE:

12:00pm – 12:30pm: Warm Up
12:30pm – 1:15pm: Jam Style 
1:15pm – 2:00pm: Finals
2:15pm: Awards at The Vault 

WHERE: The 2nd Vault Jump. Throw some style on the first jump for Best Trick points

• Whips will only be judged on the second jump
• Best Trick can be scored on first or second jump   

JUDGING:

• Whips will be judged over the course of the jam session. Judges will narrow down the field to top 15 riders for the final jam session. Judging will be based on style, amplitude, degree of whip, and return of bike to straight position on landing.
• Best trick will be judged throughout the course of the event on either of the first two jumps in the vault. Single best trick performed through the event will be awarded the winner. Judging will be based on trick difficulty, style, and execution.
